We believe that music is important. Although for those prioritizing current educational budgets .. not so much.So with music education being slashed -- and in some cases eliminated altogether, Planet Earth Music is all about making sure that gifted individuals of all ages are given permission to cultivate and grow their art. Planet Earth Music Foundation offers scholarship assistance across all aspects of our program. Our curriculum is designed to assist artists in blooming locally and growing globally -- and we believe we are preparing the best soil on the planet. This is our way of approaching growth "organically" when it comes to music.
Lessons ... and Beyond
Planet Earth Music Academy expands the common scope of quality music education programs already in place in your local area by offering group classes, professional clinics, master classes, opportunities to perform live, and a structure to record personal projects. Planet Earth Music considers these program paths an integral part of understanding the modern music business .. and the best way to germinate some amazing music careers that will grow into a lifetime of musical achievement and fulfillment.
Producers to Consumers ... Consumers to Producers
Before electricity, radio and recorded music, all of the music you heard was live. You would have to go the theatre or church if you wanted to hear music by accomplished musicians. Families purchased instruments and created their own music. Sheet music was the greatest revenue source for songwriters. Man, how times have changed! We have gone from being music Producers to music Consumers in less than two generations. How much music do you have on your iPod? ... It is our goal at Planet Earth Music to get the attention of creative Consumers and guide them back into being creative Producers again.
Keeping the Musical Faith
Currently Planet Earth Music offers programs in the Sierra Foothills of Northern California -- our pilot program. With our success we hope to build Academies across North America. You should also know, this is not our idea. The kids have told us this is what they want. We were one of them once... We get it.
